Acarbose KTA is Acarbose with only one formulation of 50mg
Acarbose modulates the absorption of carbohydrates through the inhibiton of starch digestion end-products. Arcabose is an α-glucosidase inhibitior, which inhibits the activity of α-glucosidase enzymes in the brush border wall of small intestinal entereocytes. Acarbose is not absorved and acts topically in the gut.
